Amazing Baobab. South Africa

Just been sent these by a friend in South Africa.

Adansonia digitata.

Baobabs aka the upside down tree can take alot of damage happily, I've seen countless trees with holes straight through them measuring in meters. The elephants use there tusks to tear away strips of wood during drought periods.

Amazing....

The artist is a mystery.

Seen this a while back in an email circular, I'm a tad sceptical whether it's been photoshopped. If not it's amazing!

Could be real, people harvest the bark from boababs for medicinal purposes.
