a bit of r&r after work.
exploration of a new site, a scramble amongst some very majestic trees, some hunting of the fung & and a couple of ales to finish the evening. Thanks for the pointers Andy .

precious little mycorrhyzal activity.
usual suspects there in force, Ganoderma, Meriplius, Laetiporus favourite of the day were the Geastrums .

They were completely oblivious to the fact we were up above them as there speed & noise must of focused them onto a very narrow window infront of there bikes. They then tore off to the other side of the woods. Spoke with some dog walkers later who were non too impressed by the Evel Kneivil wannabes tearing through what is a pretty delicate site .
