i dont really think you can call them divets because nothing has been taken out, more like squashed into the ground, unless you have a speed line with some big chunks lol

best one i did was 2 plus feet deep and a metre or more in length, with the sod going around 20 ft through the air on a butt fell!

the tree still stands to this day, outside kew on the canal of all places!

Left a divot (?) in Julian Clary's lawn big enough to put a badger in when I felled a big pop stick on it (Smashed the crash mat down some!).

He looked at it and said 'It'll grow back'.

It did. After wheelbarrows of topsoil and loads of grass seed! Looks good now.

I think this divot thread could turn nasty....

Deliberate divots should be banned.

And who is adjudicating? Mr. Shutler?

a rip!!!!tony tony tony, this i gota here lol. I can take you to my first ever rip, and probably my last tbh, i can even show you the felt nail that still holds the said rip in place. oh the shame, cutting a bbranch off a spruce with a bow saw from ontop of a traileri was 17. that was a very panicky 10 minutes trying to hide all the evidence and try and find the trailer under the huge branch
