New Scafell XCR Chainsaw Boots Coming Soon

Arriving 2nd Week of November, the next new chainsaw boot innovation from Arbortec Forestwear™…The ScafellXCR™ !

Offering a new alternative to the Scafell™ boot which took the market by storm in September, the NEW Scafell XCRTM features an upper crafted from a unique combination of a technical mesh fabric and the characteristic lime green leather of its brother boot.

The two-tone gunmetal grey Kevlar ® based material contrasts with the lime green sections creating a revolutionary look, with a more technical and subtle feel to it. A new style of lacing system with an increased number of eyelets of an articulated die-cast design completes the look of this handsome new boot.

Other features are similar to the Scafell™; the OutDry® waterproof system (click here to see videos on how this is superior to other waterproof systems); the full leather lining; the removable and replaceable instep grip, the tough randing for abrasion resistance; and the heavy duty Vibram sole unit.

As with the Scafell™ you get a full 14 month guarantee with the ScafellXCR™ and orders are being taken now, with the first shipment due to arrive in the UK shortly.

With many pairs of the ScafellTM now sold and on the feet of tree workers all over the country, the Scafell XCRTM offers a perfect solution for the guys who were just a little unsure of the Scafells’ radical color scheme and comes in the same recommended retail price of £299.

For more information and details of your nearest stockist, please call Arbortec Forestwear™ on 01553 768 346 or email info@arbortec.uk.com.

Any different to wear than the straight scafells? Kevlar tops might make them even stiffer, or just less likely to mold to your feet. Any experience / inside track out there?

£299? They're obviously unaware of the financial climate in this country!!!

So c'mon Steve, have we got any feedback from people who have tried them? How do they measure up to the Meindles as it's going to take a pretty spectacular boot to sway me away from them, especially at the price. What makes them so much better?

Sweet. If you find any decent feedback let us know. I think they actually look quite sharp and I'd soon scuff that dayglo colour out of them but like I say, for the price they'd have to be something special to beat the Meindles.

Bought a pair swapped them for a pair of meindel airstreams. Not that impressed for what you have to pay for them.
