Lucas mill planer kit

So here's what I've been waiting for the last few months. The planer kit fir the lucas mill. It has to be the most ridiculously priced lump of metal i have ever bought, but it does allow me to plane and thickness boards that are 1.8m wide and 6m long.

Cost £1050. And to top off being voluntarily ripped off, i went to assemble it and the bottle of loctite is empty. Not dried up, never had any in it ever.

Still, moans over i have some, lovely wide boards that i will be planing up soon and i will report back when I've done it.

Sounds pretty awesome and you have a pattern for the next one, I recon you could have that made for around half the price. Give me a shout I know a local guy who is amazing at making stuff like that. Looking forward to seeing the results

If James has some good results I would love to have one made, perhaps a sanding disc too.

James could make the jig to braze the carbide tips on for me!

I think that James would need a bit of commission as well!
