Pros and cons of 2010 Mk 7 Hilux

Still deciding what to change to and current thought is stick with a truck but an older one without a DPF. Hilux sounds like a safe bet and pre 2011 to avoid a DPF So lets hear all the horror stories on these

My local garden machinery repair man baught a new dmax from a north cornwall isuzu dealer. 6 months or so of mechanical issues and aggressively poor customer service and he traded it for a 10 plate hilux... happy man since

It's a shame about the Dmax as in some ways it's a good truck but can't be doing with it dumping diesel in the oil. It will be fine if it gets to clock some miles but my work will never offer it that. Looking like the Hilux is top of the list
