Volunteer Arborist / Groundsman — Free to a good home

At 34 years old, I guess I'm not at your typical age for a new arborist, but it is something that has always been somewhat of a reverie for me, yet a concern for the future has prevented me from pursuing this career path earlier.

Now I am in a position to know where I want to go and how I need to get there, and I believe that by volunteering my time to a company I can gain the valuable experience to aid me in my new career path.

In return I can offer you, free of charge; my desire to learn, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm.

My current situation lies with me undertaking the RFS level 2 certificate in arboriculture, and I am due to complete my CS30/31 in October, with a hope to complete my aerial certs sometime in 2016.

I'm based near Kettering in Northamptonshire, but I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance to help out for the experience.

I'm working a full time job that's mid-afternoon into nights so my time is limited to mornings & early afternoon, but if you need a lackey for an odd day here or there, drop me a PM.

I by no means want to take anything away from the guys/gals looking for & needing work, I just want to be proactive and build up some experience and gain some rapport within the local industry.
