Saw an ad for this in the paper, a windfarm developer who is wanting to get permission to build 23 turbines on a site in Sutherland, is offering £20 a month off local people's deliveries of logs!

You even get to choose the supplier yourself

the rental for those big wind turbines is about £40,000 a year. puts £20 a month into perspective.

Aye, and we all subsidise these turbines in our leccy bills, at least the folks up there are getting something back, and log suppliers might get a bit extra business.

Turbines only make the rich richer and poor poorer.
