LTS UK Chipper/Shredder

Has anyone got or used the LTS UK Chipper? It is not designed for heavy chipping work, but for a person such as myself (domestic tree work and Gardening)for smaller jobs it seems OK, thinking of getting one but wanted an opinion from anyone who may have experience using one?

It's all Chinese. The machine quality is probably OK but I wouldn't recommend LTS. Had a plasma cutter from them, damaged in transit, circuit boards bent in half. I sent it back, they 'fixed a switch' and sent it back to me (still all bent inside), then claimed they were out of stock to send a replacement. The thing works fine and I can't be arsed to argue the toss/post it back AGAIN, but I'd advise you to shop elsewhere.

What size tree work do you do ?, I ask as you sound in a similar situation to me. I only do small tree's, cut hedges & gardening, & now use the eliet major 4s, I've put 40mm through it with no problems, & its supposed to do up to 50mm, but anything that size goes to people who use logs.

For me as a small business its a great piece of kit, Friday I was putting a mixture of branches long grass/weeds & hedge cuttings through it & it shreds it up to nothing.

Thanks for that info. I saw the LTS being demo'd earlier, and from what I saw it looks fairly robust.. It went through three inch branches very easily with its 13hp engine..

Any wood above that size is useable as small logs for outdoor use in chimnea's

For the relatively small trees I do, it might be worth a go?
