How does one sharpen Granberg ripping chain?

I'm venturing ever closer to actually doing some milling....

 

Was looking at the Granberg ripping chain and noticed it looks quite different to normal chain. Kinda confused as to which bits of the chain do what??.... and which bits do I sharpen?

 

Got a Granberg precision grinder.

Like a regular chain just at 10 degrees not 30 if I remember rightly.

Mine just has depth gauge and cutter as per usual. Cutter is at very slight angle 10 degrees or less by the looks of it.

Hi Steve, the thin teeth score the edge of the cut and the fatter teeth cut the chip out. I have the same chain and grinder and use it on both at 10 degrees.

 

The scoring teeth are specific to Granberg chains.

I thought the bigger bits were the cutters (like on normal chain).

Could have sworn I ordered a Grandberg with my Alaskan but never read what was written on it
