Buying stickers?

Hi there

I'm in need of quite a lot of stickers and don't have the time or appropriate timber to mill my own.

Can anybody point me in the direction of somebody who can supply such things?

I have seen people, mainly in the states and Canada, using plastic stickers. Anyone know where I can get these in the UK? Have done some googeling but didn't turn up much. If not wooden ones are fine.

Much appreciated

Will

I did think that but the trend now seems to be to stain roofing batterns red or blue, god knows why. I have previously been ripping construction off cuts but this takes an age and is very wasteful. You ever had a problem with tanalised timber for stickers?

Cheers

Nope never👍 but they were just normal coloured ones, had a wad left over from building my oak garage, and there's always loads spare floating round builders yards:thumbup:

I mill a fair amount of stickers, and have supplied them to customers and small millers for 24p each. I cut 3/4in thick and 1.1m long (normally 1in wide but can vary by batch), usually as a by product of planking so it can be a bit boom and bust. Larch, Doug, WR Cedar, Sweet Chestnut. All well behaved and safe for whitewoods.

I've no idea how that stacks up alongside roof batten?
