Thanks for the positive feedback chaps I appreciate it, I started off with a couple of tree spirits and mushrooms, in-between me and my son made a couple of bench seats of which I will try and post some pics when they have been oiled.

I have a cedar log about 5f x 24”I am tempted to have a go at a tiki but not sure yet.

In reply to Acacia I am not sure how long it had taken as I was experimenting with different tools, I tried an air die grinder with not much success, but found a v carving chisel and angle grinder very good, still a lot to learn yet.
