stihl blower advice

Hi, I have a BG 56c blower, I have had it a few months, I have found it under power, I bought a second hand exhausted off an older blower BG 56 and put that on and it's like a new machine! I guess that the new model has a cat in the exhaust or something. So if your blower is under powered maybe that's why.
