We have one...the 27" one, but they are the same. No you dont have to plug a HD into them. The only thing they don't have is a cd drive, but I can't remember the last time I actually had to put a cd in mine. You can get plug in ones for about £60 I think

cheers ,

curry have an offer of soerts on will pop in & checkem out

anybody got 1, or simlar, what they like ,do you have to plug a h/d in to them :confused1:

im not good wi these things as some off you will know:laugh1:

Always check out the apple refurb site for prices, same as new with 1 year warranty.

I would always get the 3 year apple warranty for piece of mind.. and get the fastest machine you can afford and bump the ram up to max. Buy your ram with lifetime warranty so you have no issues in the future.

Once you have had mac you will never go back!

As per the previous post buy the highest processor spec you can afford, memory can actually be added very easily when and if required allowing you to pump all of your money directly back into the highest spec processor.

Apple refurb can offer fantastic bargains, the only difference is that they come in a brown box.

We have a 27" and absolutely love it to bits, three years old and still works flawlessly. The great thing with apple is the after care. We had an email last year staring that our harddrive should be replaced as it was deemed defective and they recalled them. Our imac was well and truly out of warranty and the hard drive was working spot on. We took the imac one day to our local reseller.

The reseller replaced our hard drive with a new one and then said there was a problem with our logic board so this was replaced at the same time oh and they even replaced the LCD screen. ALL FOR FREE!

So would I recommend no question.

Expensive initial outlay but depreciation over 3-5 years suffers less then a typical PC.
