What do you guys think of the Dale Kane tipper trailers? Look well designed/made and well priced too. Or do you prefer the others like Brian James, Atlas, Ifor ect?

No idea either but;

The drawbar shape/configuration looks professional.

Nice to see the brakes and lights as a seperate item

Are the lights LED though?, an absolute must for trailers

BUT

Watch the tare weight /gross weight and what payload is left.

Very very easy to make them too heavy, then a pig to tow even when empty or lightly loaded.

I do see he is, I think sensabally plating at 3000kg, which keeps a wider selection of pick-ups fully legal to tow this trailer.

Excellent trailers, well put together, strong floor and plenty of steel which is well galvanised. I,ve been down to the factory. Good set up, built by a company that's in touch with its market.

Does anyone know the unladen weight? Cant seem to find it anywhere. Also, any dealers in the UK or just from Ireland? Would there be an import charge coming from Ireland?

No import charge, they're made in Northern Ireland, all part of the UK&NI, just a sea crossing to make, or countrywide freight services would bring it over for a small charge.

8x5 ifor gross 2700kg unladen around. 700- 750kg not sure if that's electric tip or not. I,d guess the dale Kane one is marginally heavier. Give Dale a ring and get it straight from the man who makes them, he'll have all the spec,s to hand.
