entec 25hp kohler engine
anyone own one of these chippers or can help me get hold of the correct service manual? the kohler website doesnt have the correct manual on it. i need a diagram for the wiring on the starter motor. also a picture of the control connections where the throttle cables meet the engine. if anyone can take some pics of the setup i would be very grateful, ive got the ch25s.

where abouts are you Bill? I run an Entec with the 25hp petrol engine and am in Meltham about 2 miles from Holmfirth. If you want a look to establish the connections you need just let me know. You can't be that far away. I might even have the original service/owners manual but I don't think it gives details of wiring/throttle cable routing

cable from battery red one goes onto back of starter motor if you have a key start ignition a wire from the ignition goes onto the starter motor well it does on a honda so you need power and an activator.

this is the manual i have already: http://www.kohlerengines.com/common/.../tp_2428_b.pdf as you can its not the same. if anyone has got the one for the ch25s i would be grateful. i think the one im after looks like this:  its the service manual not the owners one. |

I had a new engine put in mine last November by Universal Engine Power in Dumnow, Essex, the engineer got the wiring diagram from Timberwolf when he fitted the engine for us

I been looking into putting the 35hp briggs vanguard engine on my little 6 inch would be the smallest quckist chipper in its class.
Any one else thought about modding little chippers. Since the housing on the small timberwolfs is the same as the diesel 6 inch they can take 35hp no probs but petrol will be super quicker so no worries with the no stress. |
