Stihl 130 combi 4-mix

Spent half an hour trying to get the mix screws right, can't find the bloody handbook.

Can anyone explain the procedure to reset it, H, L and Run.

I don't have a tacho.

Thanks.

I think it's 1 1/2 high and 1/2 low. If that don't work ring us early before the phones go mental and ask Mick.

Re: Stihl 130 combi 4-mix

standard screw settings should be etched on one of the plastic covers near the adjustment screws.

3/4turn h and l screws is standard on the 130. the 4-mix engines are fickle creatures tho, might need regular fine adjustments.... or a hammer

Tried everything and had to stop before I broke it over my knee.

Justin, will run it up to you as soon as I can.

So Mick can break it over his knee!

How stiff is it to pull over? If it seems very high on compression, the valves probably need adjusting.

Wanky engines if you ask me.

Re: Stihl 130 combi 4-mix

Compression seems fine, and has bullet proof for 3 years.

Apart from the ridiculous farty-sound of the 4-mix!
