Mine did exactly the same. Before you buy anything try wiggling the leads around the isolator and take the cover off the pump area and check the leads around there while holding the power up button - when it starts tipping you'll know where the bad connection is. Ours was a weak connection - no parts needed!

mine does this - normally cleaning the terminals to the battery of corosion does the trick.
so would go witht he voltage problem as the first point of call.

Electric motor is shagged been quoted £300 for a replacement seem's a bit steep!! the motor, pump, and tank is one unit anyone have any suggestion's for a replacement? looking on flea bay at the moment.

dont mean to teach you to suck eggs but if its knackered (and you need a new one anyway) then take it to bits it may be just a stuck brush. youv nothing to loose.

either that or watch out for a second hand one if your not in a rush for it
