prussik locking up using slack tender

Hi all,

Using a new setup of prussik with slack tender pulley and for some reason the prussik keeps locking up?

Never really had this problem before using the pulley, I began with a 3 wrap prussik which worked fine but the 2 strands of the loop which are connected to my karabiner keeps popping out of the wraps and locking up.

It is new cord too

Any advice?

Are you using a loop or an eye to eye?

 

I'd buy a length of cheap church cord and try some different knots. swabisch prussik works well.
