Large chainsaw,what's available?

Looking to buy a new chainsaw in the 90-100cc size to run up to 40" bar. What's the choice available? Stihl ms661, Husqvarna 395, and the Makita /Dolmar 9010. is there any other make of saw to consider? and is the Makita good, as they can be bought for about 700 quid inc the Vat. TIA john

100cc, with a 40" bar , i would be looking at putting a skip chain on it,or go up a notch to stihl 880 or husky 3120

I've not tried the new(er) ms661 but had a 660 for years and it's a great saw for bigger stuff. I run a 25" and 36" bar.

Speak to andrew (shavey) about dolmar, he's a top bloke. He also had a big solo for sale i think. That looked a beast.
