im starting to sell logs. I was wondering what folks do with soft woods such as Conifer, Lime, Popular, Willow?

Offer a discount ?

take down lot tip?

kindling?

cheers

Lime, Pop and Willow are all hardwoods, Yew is my favourite firewood and is actually a softwood :001_smile:

I had quotes of £45+vat last year! I think it's come down to £35/40 now but still a far cry from £15/20 I was paying from the same supplier 2 years ago!

Is this chip dry? A mate of mine makes eco logs from sawdust etc and needs a reliable supply!

Burn them myself and sell the hardwood. Found so much resistance to anything other than best hardwood. I have been trying to sell softwood for 30% less than the hardwood and it does not budge but the hardwood sells itself.
