Two for the chop?

Recommended Posts

Been doing a bit of spring surveying whilst out with my boys. The first set of pics is of the base of a big Ash. Its about 3ft wide at the base and about 70ft high. It lost two big limbs last year but only flattened the understory. If if falls it may just about reach a local road with the tips or tickle a house boundary fence.

The other tree is a large Beech with a partially split stazi ear. The targets are two heavily used paths by school children and elderly people. It is in a prone location especially from prevailing winds.
