dalbergia sissoo is the wood in question here and will fade badly if put in the sun.

 

i don't know what restoration techniques would bring it back but presuming it is solid timber sanding it would do the job fine.

 

if you decide to put it back out in the sun the finish it with the strongest UV inhibitor you can find.

This has been sat out in my conservatory for a couple years and has faded badly. What's the best thing to use to restore it to its previous colour? The wood is sheesham

Steve. I'll see if I can get you a bottle of whatever our guys use in the restoration workshop. Or at least find out what is your best course of action. I know we've had loads of sheesham prices through.
