Olympic disqualifications...i dont get it??

So no doubt everyone heard about the badminton players being disqualified for deliberately losing/fixing match results to make their later draws more favourable.. The Japanese womens soccer team(don't laugh, its an actual event) did the exact same thing and weren't disqualified. Am I missing something to the story?

Team GB are guilty of bending the rules after Hindes fell off on purpose after a wheel wobble in the team sprint so he could have the race re started, they went on to win gold.

Regrettabley it depends on the official and which country they are from, IMHO. Like jammy said.

I believe there may be a query as to whether he actually meant what he initially said as English is a second language to him.
