Yeah, the whole parking brake thing on the Disco 3 is really stupid.... it has a plastic part that wears out really quickly leading to the brake coming on. Frickin' electromechanical mechanism too - what's wrong with a cable?

Oh they have a cable. It's under the centre consol and it's there to release the park brake in emergency. Like when it goes wrong and sticks on. Lol.
A real pig to sort out.
