Just been on a car forum im a member of and one of the guys on there, Is messing about with HDR, some it looks amazing, Some of it looks pants :laugh1:

 

I dont know much about it but i wondered if anyone on here has a dabble??

If im honest Rob, I dont know much about it at all, The chap on the car websites pics were the first ive come across, Some do look amazing!!

 

 

I had a quick read of this before, Does sound interesting

Abit like photoshop i guess but i know nothing about that either haha

I'm really no expert, but here goes;

 

It seems to be a new technique possible with the invent on digital imaging, whereby the photographer takes 3 photos of the same scene, but exposes one to capture the highlights, one for the mid-tones and the third for the shadows, etc.

 

All three images are then used to create the HDR final image.

 

I think that's what it is??

 

Might have a dabble myself.

 

I'm sure Mr Hancock would be able to confirm!!
