General Election

Unsure who your going to vote for, want to compare the policies of each party and get an unbiased option at the end. Have a look at this link voteforpolicies

I've just completed it and i really have no idea about politics and it generally doesn't interest me, but still an interesting result. Mine came out as Labour.

Re: General Election

OH boy, theres some BIG things to talk about in this thread!

Christian I am not, Pagan if I was religous, as for Europe, why not, rather be a European super power and rival the yanks than be swallowed whole by thier crap tv and polotics, oh and then their culture too!

You have a choice, we need allies, so yanks or european?

As for christian country? is it really? I would bet thier are far more people involved in other faiths than christianity? Muslims hebru's Budhists, Druids and pagans, jehovahs the list goes on. Does where you are really dictate what faith you follow? and should faith limit your country of residence? I personaly think religion is a personal affair and should stay that way, when it isnt kept that way it causes so much trouble!

It certainly has nothing to do with a political view? religion is no longer that powerfull an influence on society.

Re: General Election

I think your wrong about us not being a christian country or you think other faiths are largr in the UK than christiantiy, I once found out a fact and ill try and find it again that said the number of white english is around 90%.

Maybe im estimating a bit on my next calculation but how many white english peeople support other faiths? once again another internet search just revield that 75 % of people in britian are christians.

Makes no odds to me I cant vote even if I wanted to.

Re: General Election

one point which will attract a lot of votes will be to get all the young lazy playstation era off benefits and into payed work, down here we get a lot of 18 year old chavs claiming sickness benefit when they have never done a days work since leaving school tried so many when looking for a trainee groundee all they want to do is argue all the time
