It looks like the UK economy is doing rather well. How can this be? We were assured that if we voted for Brexit there would be economic devastation.

I've also not heard anything about the war that David Cameron said a Brexit vote would bring.

The headline below is from the FT..

You do realise it's not happened yet?

Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

We were told that a Brexit vote would lead to immediate economic disaster. The Chancellor (George Osborne) said a Brexit vote would mean an emergency budget.... it never happened.

Admittedly it's early days, but the scare stories from the Bremain side have not materialised...

I enclose a screenshot below from the BBC that was pushing their normal propaganda and lies.

Gents,

Even a grumpy, non flag-waving curmudgon like me, has started to feel a bit of pride in being British.

I suspect I am not the only one.

This is all that is needed, confidence in our country and our abilities.

And welcome hard working immigrants with open arms, as long as they learn English, abide by our Laws, and assimilate.

Bring it on.

P.S.

Can we also export the native bred dross from within our own communities?

cheers

Marcus

The bank of England which was pushing to raise interest rates had to backtrack and raised them by half a percent... instead of an emergency budget we used quantitative easing to add another 60 billion to our national debt..

No one knows whats in Donald trumps mind, but I suspect he's playing a game. Merkel goes, the Europeans are persuaded to adopt a hardline policy on the wrong kind of immigrants and he'll be whispering in our ear, get back in, or that trade deal with the US is dead...
