Extremely annoying on radio 2, taking on the top gear job was arrogance beyond belief, failing at it was comeuppence!

Now facing charges!

The guy is an absolute bellend.

But rich and famous??????

Is there something wrong with our society?

Always liked Evans when he was on TFIFriday but not so keen on the TopGear effort. Not entirely all his fault I'd have to say as you can lay a lot of the blame at the feet of the beeb.

With regard to the allegations; there's been quite a few of those about recently with other celebrities without any foundation or so it seems. I'll wait and see if he's actually charged and convicted of anything

I won't comment on the charges.

As a presenter I've always admired his willingness to take risks in his career, even if they don't work out.

Taking over after Wogan was a risk, many wanted him to fail but he did very well.

Top Gear was another risk, I watched it, he wasn't very good, Matt Leblanc was.

I'd hope (prolly in vain) in life I'd be more like him, a chance taker, not scared to fail rather than a sneerer from the sidelines, willing him to fail to make me feel better about my own lack of ambition.

Lovely thought for the day that

Everyone wanted new top gear to fail, it was tired format and they did't really reboot it more like got in deads man shoes.

It got better

If you watch really old top gear it's clunky and awkward the presenters bond in time and it got to where it was

You got that right, there is definitely something wrong when you can try and convict on social media before any investigation has even been started :thumbdown::thumbdown:
