American looking for work

I’m an American looking to work in the tree care industry in the UK. For the past five years I’ve worked fighting forest and brush fires for the American federal government. Many of the skills I’ve acquired are transferable to the tree care industry. I used high powered chain saws (Stihl 044 and 460) for extended shifts daily cutting brush and felling large hazardous trees on steep and rugged terrain. I’m comfortable working in high stress environments where teamwork is essential to accomplish tasks. Before becoming a wild land firefight I completed a six month trade program in urban forestry and arboriculture learning the basics of tree climbing, rigging, pruning, tree identification, knots, and general safe practices for the urban forestry industry. I want the opportunity to improve my skill set and progress forward in a career in arboriculture. I own my own basic climbing gear and a couple of saws and feel confident climbing but haven't done enough climbing at a production pace to sell my self as a climber. It's a skill I'm looking to learn more about and improve on .My work ethic and willingness and eagerness to work long hours and weekends in all types of adverse weather would be an asset to any company.

For any questions you can contact me at [email protected] or call me at 603-767-0195. thank you for reading

Best regards,

Eric Bonneau
