I ve had a chain made up but its one drive link to short and its been a while since it was made and company don't want to know .Can it be extended by one link and is this OK to do because I asked where I got it from and they didn't want to know. Or am I better putting it on eBay its a brand new chain never been used ! Thanks Ian

Matty thanks for your kind offer its a 3/8 0.058 which should be 96 drive links but they made a mistake and made it 95 !!!!!! Oh yes its an Oregon chain .

Have you tried fitting it??

 

If you wind the tensioner right back you may find you can get it on.

This is a good call as I can get standard loops on with an 8 pin when they a made for a 7 pin ......
