hi,

noticed that you can pick up a tidy landy mewp for less than £10k.

Would some kind soul advise me on the yearly costs of testing etc for a vehicle mounted mewp please?

How often would it need loler testing and at what cost also any prices on insurance, advice etc much welcome.

cheers

You will be lucky to get a truly tidy 1 for less than 10k as a decent landy without the mewp is worth that, I'd looked at plenty of dulux machines before getting mine, you need a landy in top structural condition or all that weight will snap it apart when your traveling around!

Cost wise, lola inspections twice a year at 250-300 each time.

Insurance, mine has a dual policy for road use and then 1 that covers it when it's working which is so variable I'd make some calls before you look much more.

Running costs are like any other vehicles sometimes they will run for months and cost you fuel only then they will decide to cost you a few k in repares all at the same time.

Mpg is lower as it's effectively fully loaded all the time.

Wouldn't be without mine now!
