Hello there,

I am currently looking for a qualified Tree Surgeon to cut down/take away x 2 standing trees in my garden. They are described as a 'young' cherry tree and a 'young elder.'...........I am looking for somebody to do it for Free and in turn offering all the wood for FREE for use as fire wood or in a woodburner .....They are based in a private garden in a residential area in **********. Please let me know if interested in this deal or/and would like photos? Many thanks

Is there not some "superstition " about burning Elder ? ... otherwise this would be hard to resist ( not ! )

And elder, such brilliant firewood too! You'd have a roaring blaze going with that... If you'd got five gallons of red diesel to get it going with!

Good point. I don't count elder as wood, more like wet blotting paper.
