Hello everyone!

As you can see I'm new here.

Im a woodturner based in north London. I am looking for Large diameter timber in the london area, I have a van, moving equipment and a few sets of strong arms! I don't have a chansaw ticket though:blushing:

I know that woodturners are sometimes seen as a bit of a pain to you guys. I have worked in construction long enough to know when I'm in the way, making you look unprofessional or being a PITA so do my best to avoid these situations. I'm reliable and won't mess you about!

In terms of what I'm after............

Most species are of interest to me, Sycamore, Beech, Oak, Cedar ect. but especialy large bits of crotch wood and obviously any burrs! Haha!

I require a minimum diameter of about 20" but 24" up would be better.

If acess is good and the tree is of interest I can take fairly large ammounts.

I can also offer to make items for your clients from their tree, in my experience people really like this as they grow attached to the tree thats been in the garden since the kids were small! If you gain me such a commision I will give you a percentage of the price of the item.

If any of you guys can help me out with this I can bribe you with beer, bowls and hopefully do you a bit of a favour shifting all the timber.

Thanks!

Will
