Rabbit proof plants...

A client is insistent that is I plant sage all round his flower beds that this will deter rabbits from raiding his garden. My rabbit "expert"(a vet nurse)disagree's & says rabbits will eat it or just jump over it.

Is the collective brain on here, aware of any plants that will deter rabbits from raiding the flower beds ?

Lol my first thought was plant a few onions as well then they will be fully seasoned.....:thumbup1:

The client is convinced that the sage will drive them away... His garden is fenced with chicken wire, but its in a poor condition & on initial inspection I found a 9 holes & places where the wire wasn't sunk in to the ground & the rabbits had come underneath it. The garden has fields on 3 sides, & is a large garden.

He also thinks if he plants everything in tubs & troughs they won't be able to get at it.
