Don't know if anybody would be interrested, this is just of Junction 21 of M1.

 

You are being invited to learn some fundamental bushcraft skills this summer at Brocks Hill Country Park in Oadby. Silverback Bushcraft, one of the leading regional training companies, are joining Oadby and Wigston Borough Council to run a series of introductory sessions, with the first on Sunday 27th July working in woodlands at the top of the Country Park.

 

Bushcraft is all about learning to use the natural resources we all have around us to thrive in the great outdoors. Working with an expert tutor the day long session will cover build a shelter including useful knots, water purification and safe knife use. The course goes from the basics of fire lighting to wilderness cooking around a camp fire to many other bushcraft topics such as tree identification, and awareness of the wild plants around the site.

 

The event will include tips on survival and living with nature and is designed for beginners to learn the basic art of bushcraft.

 

Booking is essential for the event, as places are limited. The price £50, will include a full day’s professional tuition, refreshments and lunch. The session starts at 10:30 a.m. and will finish at 4:00pm.
