Hello all

Is there meant to be a spring somewhere where I'm pointing? What does the little lever that the throttle cables not attached to do? At the moment I have to hold the throttle lever near the ignition on full with a bungi strap, will getting a spring if there's meant to be one sort this?

If you have one the same could you take a pic and put it here please?

Thanks

Ger

Hi

Having checked with our parts department, there is a throttle spring part available with part number 1304.

Give us a quick call and we`ll put you in touch with your local dealer to get it sent out.

Thanks, I'll give Spectrum Plant a call.

What does the little lever do that I'm pointing at? It moves as if it should do something but mine obviously hasn't and the chipper still runs fine?

Please see the photo for your information.

The longer lever in the picture is the throttle lever, operated by the throttle cable. The smaller lever is the manual fuel cut off. It will shut off the engine if activated. It has a spring fitted internally which holds it in the "run" position. We don`t require the manual cut off because the engine is fitted with a fuel cut off solenoid which you will see in the top left of the picture.

If you still want to order the spring you can see in the picture please call your dealer.

I Hope this clarifies things for you.

Hello again

I got the small spring because mine is a 2001. Could you put a pic up of where it goes, mine looks different to the one in your pic?

Cheers

I think you need the long spring, the newer models have the shorter spring mines a 2004 and has the long spring.
