front mount chipper on a mog

hi guys, i am thinking on putting a front mount chipper on my mog, so to utilise the back linkage and pick up hitch. i know loads of mogs have them, and i think it will be a lot better , no reversing, just drive in. job done. my only worries were pulling out tight roads and junctions and wear on the front tyres. i wont be putting anything crazy size on the front, probably the ducker 250. cheers stevie:001_smile:

I use to drive a U900 with a front mounted PTO chipper; it’s a right pain. You may have to look in to up-rating the coils suspension. As the rear suspension is heavy duty you may be able to get away with replacing the shock Absorber's to heavy duty off road ones if the chipper is light enough.

Or you'll fine yourself bouncing down the road using the chipper as a plough :-) when its empty and not towing anything!
