Camping

Me and about 8-9 friends want to camping in the summer holidays after we have finished are GCSEs.

We want a fire and to be within walking distance of a shop.

What is the best way to go about it, a campsite, we would really want to camp just in a field or forest and was wondering if that was even possible? And if so what places are there?

We will all be 16+ and was wondering if that would be a problem without an adult there?

Thanks

Jack

The biggest problem you will probably get is finding a campsite that will accept a group of people your age. With regards to what sort of site is best, you need to decide what you want eg do you want showers etc? :001_smile:

Yep second that. The size of group with the age group will make many gringe, sorry but its kind of a stereotype that has come about.

Good luck with finding one. And a you looking for a specific area?

Yea that's the problem, there is a nice area about 5 miles from where we all live where we did our DofE so might just try to find a quiet field as its just for the one night, maybe two at the Max!

That reservoir must have been built on a fair old slope.

The bottom is full up and the top is pretty empty.

There is a sailing club there, I have a sneaking suspicion they won't be overly pleased to see you unfortunately.

Trevone campsite, nr padstow, cornwall.

£5 per pitch (if you have a 8 man tent, it's still £5)

You can have as big a fire as you can build and make as much noise as you want.

1 mile walk from two nice sandy beaches.

That's is what I was thinking but I was thinking maybe in the top right in or around the woods as that is more out of site!
