1975 Ford 3000 Tractor ???
Been given one of these!!!
 Needs a LOT of work tho! (not the one in the pic!) Any comments / views / advice? Thanks.

Nice little tractors. We had one with a 3T fransguard on for thinning on one estate and it stood up to it well. Seem to remember it being quite stable too.
There's a power assisted steering kit available for them too, which made ours nicer when sneaking out of the wood. Haven't seen that many about so maybe quite sought after? |

hubby will be green with envy, hes always wanted a little 4000, i think from what ive heard from him the 000 series has always been pretty good

Used to drive them in my early days of starting in forestry in the 70s we had front radiator protector bars and sump guards fitted to them too.

the 3000's are very sort after in the tractor restoration world! Good work horse, proper tractor and it was biuilt on the theory, no smoke no poke unlike this modern emission compliant heaps of technology.
You've been lucky to be given it, a tidy and a spring clean with a bit of paint, she's probably worth 5k........ you enjoy working her!
