My old landy

Here is a picture of my Landy.I have it stored at my sisters farm in NZ.A 1969 SII

A guy put alot of money into the project and then his business went bust and I bought it off a receiver for £500 equivalent.

He had the following work done by an engineering firm.

 

Chassis galvanised and strenghtend

Toyota 3B Diesel engine fitted and wading kit

Toyota Lancruiser gearbox and transfer case

Rover 90 Diff heads

Axel breathers

Extended spring hangers

Air shocks

Roll cage

12000lb Ramsey winch

Free wheel hubs

Tow bar

Bucket seats with harness and seatbelts

Electric Fans

 

When I bought it it wasn't running,due to the receiver not knowing it was 24volt and trying to start it with one battery.

 

I have taken this machine into some mental places,drove it 14miles off road without a clutch.Drove it across a Lagoon with water higher than the Door tops whilst being paced by Kayakers from Danemark!
