Timber Dragon Trailer??

Hi All

Does anyone own one, had a look at them on line seem to be ok, I liked the idea of having a tipping trailer fitted to the chassis, not sure whether its a bit of a gimmick though.

thanks in advance

Dermot

They are chinese but not that bad for the money. If you work on the basis that the hydraulics are almost disposable and then replace them with european sourced parts as required it could be a feasable investment.

If it was getting used commercially I'd tend to spend a bit more and go for something a bit more robust.

What you looking to tow it with?

A small 40hp Kubota off road but the appeal was the tipping trailer which I thought would be good for log delivery etc, in which case it would be towed by a ranger. Someone on here mentioned logic trailers but I wonder are there any other commercial options preferably European?

Re: Timber Dragon Trailer??

If you were considerign taking a timber dragon on the road behind a road vehicle then I'd have a good look into the legality before hand as I think you may find some problems relating to the lack of suspension and the nose weight

if you wanted road legal (as opposed to agri spec) and a rocking beam axle then as far as I know there is only one out there commercially but it's a lot more expensive than a timber dragon.

Ah The power of advertising on Arbtalk just saw Rikos version which seems a lot more sensible with adjustable axel position,
