i have finally decided to get one, having used the silky one with the 4 extension handle, I was just wonderind wether there is anything else on the market worth considering.

we do not to powerline work so its really just down to performance and ease of use, are the fibre glass ones worth considering?:001_smile:

I forked out to ship the AUS Industries poles over to NZ after using them for line work in Wales. If you know how to use them they're excellent and don't fish rod as much as Jameson and Chance. Not sure if you want the extra expense for insulated stuff but they are well worth the money.

I have a couple of these fibreglass poles with silky blades attached. They come in a range of sizes from a couple of feet to a whopping three section jobbie.

They twist lock at any position. The end is threaded or fits a standard paint roller or the blade adaptor.

They are fairly rigid but bendy enough that you can bash deadwood out with a practiced flick.

You can get them in the UK, there is a supplier near me but only for bulk orders. I know Mozza wants a couple so if anyone else is interested I will look at getting an order together.
