You could run a GreenMech Eco TMP which is a 6" machine, bolt it to a frame mounted on your Landrover and fit a pump drive and resevoir and your away. The chipper would be fed from the pavement and the weight would be close to, so it would be a good one. Is yours an AgriRover?

i dont think so its my dads its been sitting in the garage for as long as i can remember. he was going to scrap it so i got it of him needs some work doing to it thou

Sounds like a fun project and I am not trying to rain on your parade, but for your consideration......

The chassis will need some welding, which in itself isn't the end of the world. Plenty of pattern parts for series motors but be sure it's not a job you wish you never started before you start and not halfway through.

What was the vehicle used for in it's previous life? running a chipper off an aged engine and gearbox is like giving your granny a pair of running shoes, she will do it but not for long!

The arbor eater on fleabay is a good prospect (it's got it's own hydraulic system) but try to find out what it weighs. It is designed to be behind a tractor and has no brakes so if it weighs more than 750kg it can't legally go behind your landrover.

Having said all that I know someone who had a very successful PTO landrover (Perkins engine) for quite a few years. It was a while ago and was one of the first drawbar mounted chippers.
