I read with some intrigue a few days ago the front page of the 'Forestry Journal' '' A powerful wood fuel combination available 'exclusively' from TP's only sole uk and Ireland distributor! '' Having delt with Mark from A T Osbourn for over 20 years, I believe he has over 30 years connection with TP, and having benefited from his knowledge and parts supply and having knowledge of other recent dealers including the addition of 4 or 5 in the last couple of years it came as a surprise to read the above.

My thoughts exactly. Not best pleased to see the Wilsons monopolisation.

We brought a new tp recently, used tp website to find dealers, there were a few. Now just lists jaspwilson. We are in the south west uk, hope we don't get a big warrantee fault!!

I think TP will lose out. People liked dealing with Osbournes.

Businesses do change and life does go on. While it is the end of an era and folk like the Osbournes are loosing out, maybe Wilson's will do a good job. I extend my very best wishes to the Osbournes, I remember getting brochures off of them some 25 years ago, drinking beer at the Lockerbie Hall Hotel at that APF and chatting with Mark at Cheffins sales.....good people.....but life does go on.

yikes was Lockerbie APF that long ago! our mog was there on ACPrice stand, Mark will survive and I wish him all the best...... mm from red to green or multi coloured or even county chippers tbc

Lockerbie APF was 2002, various exhibitors took ul in the Lockerbie Hall, drank all the beet, got insulted by Donna and got an envelope opener! Epic nights!

Need to move the APF around I think! Make a change for us northerners travelling so far 😉
