seized jonsered 2156

my mate brought his saw for me to look at, seized,lots of transfer on the pot but not too much scoring,checked plug and was normal biscuit colour and he said it wasnt revving high beforehand so im assuming it was his crap fuel, it smelt a bit funny/stale

Ordered a meteor kit for it, but before i fit it ,is there anything else to check ?

Nice saw, you should check for air leaks around the inlet boot,the boot also includes the impulse, so you need to be sure the boot fits correctly onto the cylinder, the later machine has a metal clip to secure the boot, this was abetter solution than the plastic clip on the earlier machine, check the fuel filter in the tank, and the fuel screen in the carb.

It's a red 357xp, so the usual, seals, carb boot and fuel lines!
