Stihl pressure washer woes!

I have an old re 160k pressure washer. It's been running poorly so I stripped and rebuilt the pump.

The wand and hose allow water through at mains pressure with the pump off, but the pressure isn't good (although higher than mains) with the pump on.

Running the pump without the hose attached gives good pressure (blasting straight out of the machine).

Not seen a 'slightly' blocked hose before which is the most obvious answer I guess. Any ideas? Is this common?

:confused1:
