Stilh chainsaws

Would love to know if anyone else on here are experiencing problems with stilh chainsaws? I seem to be on a regular basis sending them back for repair its becoming a complete joke and I'm thinking of switching to Huskys. Can anyone help??

I would imagine your local Husky agent would love to help. I would suggest you put on your next post, the size saws you prefer - I would imagine a top handle, 50cc, 70cc and 90cc would be typical!

husky arnt much better.... I love my 560xp but she pops clutch and av springs for fun, been in 4 times for oil pump and it's just gone again today!

 

it's only a year old too!!

 

but when it's on form I love it !!

Not sure about Stilh's but I run plenty of Stihl's and they're all fine. What models are you having problems with? All saw manufactures make pants saws eg any top handle by husky, MS261 early MS201's. Do your research first and choose saws with a good reputation.

Cracking saws they are and having no problems with any of mine , i heard a bloke say the same about Stihl Saws in the local Stihl dealer and he said he has had nothing but problems and going back to BQ specials ...................... i asked him what problems and his reply was .

 

"they are hard to start and the pull cord keep snapping " Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm .

 

I asked him does he know the starting procedure of Stihl saws/stimmers etc ,his face went red and left .
