I have an old entec 150 chipper, great old machine but now not blowing out very well, no blades are broken on the fan, could it be that the fan is just worn and needs to be replaced ? it did used to blow right to the back of the truck but now has a problem and will get blocked up easy. any help would be gratefully received.

Blades are fine changed them two weeks ago, it has been getting worse over the last year, changed bearings last year fitted electronic fuel pump but did not replace fan halves they are now 7 years old as it was 2007 when they were replaced last. rev speed seems to be fine.

Ok. Thanks for your help,

my machine has the old type fan, so will order the parts it's not a big job just a bit puzzled, but thinking about it, it has been getting worse over the last couple of years. the fan blades have lasted a long time and not broken 7 years. but don't put anything bigger than 3'' through it as all other goes to logs. old machine but love it just keeps working, no stress release no complications, living in France no problem. will keep rebuilding it.

Depending on what age it is they upped they pulley size as well to increase speed and draft.

Had mine changed from old fans to new and pulley as well and was like a different chipper
