80' Monkey Puzzle

I have an 80' Monkey Puzzle in my front garden (see photos). It's a big mother. But its dead and it needs to come down.

 

Is the timber any use to anyone? Is it worth anything? I've heard its not great to burn but might be just what someone is looking for. I live in Manningtree, North Essex.

 

I'd like it to go to a good home it was once a magnificent tree and I would guess one of the oldest Monkey Puzzles around

Years ago I had one ringed up in the back of my truck and a hairy bloke asked me about them and what was happening with them. I told him probably firewood and he asked if he could have a few different sizes for making drums - sure help yourself and he did.

 

When dismantling, don't slip it can be a bit painful.

Bit confused when you say it's dead as it seems to be growing healthily. Unless its a second tree behind in the photo???
